Our Story

I've always had a passion for expanding my mind and experiencing new things.  Growing up, I loved diving into a good book -- and traveling through the lives and experiences of the characters.  Now, I still love diving into a good book, but I also love diving into a new country and culture.  There's nothing in life that makes me happier than packing my bags, jumping on a plane and taking on a new adventure with my family and friends.

Since I'm not able to travel the world year-round, I opt for traveling as much of Illinois and the surrounding states as much as possible.  I hope to make my adventures -- your adventures by reading this blog.

When I'm not traveling, my husband, J.C., and Golden Retriever, Wrigley, makes ordinary life fun by enjoying food, movies, books and more with me.
